Santander have apprenticeships over a number of their core business areas including Financial Services, Mortgage Advisor, Relationship Management & even Human Resources. Depending on the course you choose it can take between 12 months to 4 years to complete.
You'll be getting on the job experience while also getting valuable support from the most knowledgeable colleagues in the business. The responsibilities you get are real, that's for sure! Here is some more information about some of the apprenticeship programmes that Santander offer.
This is a four-year apprenticeship where you can develop both your technical and business skills while building the relationships to help form your career. You'll earn your degree while working in either Milton Keynes or Leicester. You could be involved in developing industry-leading apps such as Spendyltics and Apple Pay, working with Big Data or protecting people from cybercrime, everything you do is important.
You could be based in the head offices in either Milton Keynes, Leicester or London with this apprenticeship. With this three-year course, you'll have loads of opportunities to share your ideas on how you can improve the way Santander works with both its customers and colleagues. You'll get a CIPD qualification enabling you to be able to grow as a HR leader. You'll have experience in a number of teams and you'll get to share your experience with a number of key colleagues in Santander.
This apprenticeship can last up to four years to bring together a range of financial and commercial disciplines. You will gain experience across different areas of the finance team, getting to learn the inner workings of one of the world's leading banks. You'll either get a CIMA or ACCA professional qualifications with the opportunity to progress to be a fully qualified accountant!
You'll learn about who Santander, what banks do and how the financial industry operations. You'll learn about risk management, best practise and customer service. You'll be the face of the company helping Santander the place that the public want to bank with. You will be challenged, and your ideas will be thought about.
This programme takes 15-18 month to complete. It's more than money, it's about terrorist activities, human trafficking and arms dealing. Want to be part of the solution? You can make it happen. If you do well you could be offered a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship and you'll help monitor suspicious transactions, screening individual customers or assessing potential risks.
