Hello, I Am Tasha

I knew I wanted to work and earn money, and I didn't think I was ready to leave home and go to uni. I wanted to start my career early so an apprenticeship seemed like the best option for me as I get to earn money and study for a degree at the same time, so it's definitely been the right decision!

Tell us more about your experience

I support the marketing team with various jobs, such as helping with events, brand communications and socials.

Securing this apprenticeship has been the highlight of my career so far as it has given me so many opportunities to learn and develop myself as a person and in my career.

The biggest challenge was Preparing for the assessment day during my A-Level exams as I had to make time for interview and presentation prep as well as revision for my exams.

As apprentices we all support each other as we are all going through the same process. My manager and wider team are also really supportive, as well as our Apprentice Manager who we can go to with any concerns. Our training provider also gives us a point of contact with whom we can go to with any issues regarding our studies.

I will be supported in finding a job within the business after my apprenticeship, whether that is in the department I have experience in or a new department entirely.

My word of advice is to go for it! But make sure it's something you're interested in as working a full-time job while studying for a degree is hard work so it definitely helps if it's something you enjoy.
