About the Triumph Apprenticeship Programme
Regardless of personal background or circumstances an apprenticeship is a great place to start a career. Those starting their working life as an apprentice will be more likely to have professional success and can look at earning significantly more over the course of their career. The Triumph Apprenticeship Programme will give access to learning environments, resources and professional training along with guidance that supports apprentice development in pursuit of personal and apprenticeship goals. Apprenticeships combine practical training and related studies to develop apprentice knowledge, skills and behaviours. Key to apprenticeships is the way in which there is a strong bias to practical related learning in the workplace. This is vitally important to ready apprentices for the rigours of their End Point Assessment, the final hurdle to becoming qualified. Total commitment to the apprenticeship programme from employers and apprentices is vital if apprentices are going to realise their full potential and achieve high levels of success.
In addition to the pride and status that comes with being associated with one of the industry’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, apprentices can expect:
All the below areas will be discussed not only during the apprenticeship induction but continuously throughout the apprenticeship journey. If any apprentice or employer has a topic of concern in relation to safeguarding, equality and diversity or health and safety, they should contact our team who will provide the relevant support and guidance.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is a set of proactive policies, practices and procedures, grounded in law, policy and values, that aims to keep children, young people and adults, apprentices and staff, safe from a wide range of potential harm. Throughout the apprenticeship journey, the programme team will maintain a safe learning environment for the apprentices, ensuring they detect and protect against any safeguarding issues.
Equity and Diversity
The Triumph Apprenticeship Programme operates a policy of equality of opportunity which guarantees equal treatment regardless of any legally protected personal characteristic. Equality and diversity issues will be discussed during the apprenticeship and we will promote the benefits of equality and diversity in the workplace and society. As apprentices start their working career, they will be given guidance as to their responsibilities in terms of equal opportunities.
Health and Safety
Health and Safety is of prime importance at all times for all of us. Employers and the training team are fully aware of their responsibility for carrying out apprentice training within a safe working environment. It is the apprentice’s responsibility to follow the guidance regarding all matters of Health and Safety. Apprentices are entitled to the same protection under the law in Health and Safety matters as any other employed person. As apprentices start their working career health and safety will be one of the early topics they cover.
