I joined RSM as a school leaver and immediately began working on my ATT qualification. Now I’ve qualified, I’m working towards my CTA. One of the best things is the variety of the work I get to take on.
I was surprised by the amount of responsibility I was given from the start – in a good way! I was able to jump into a client-facing role straight away, preparing advisory reports and helping to advise clients on the tax implications of different corporate structures.
I’ve also worked on a lot of really complex tasks but been given plenty of support so it never feels like too much. In my first month, our team partner took me to a meeting with two high profile clients and made sure I was fully involved in the meeting. It was a great learning opportunity.
RSM has been a great place to start my career and I plan to stay here long term. The progression opportunities are great, and I really feel like a valued member of my team.
