Breedon operates quarries and plants across the country, supplying aggregates, ready-mix concrete and asphalt, to customers who are building bridges, roads, tower blocks, and many other elements of the built environment around you.
What is quarrying?
In essence, “turning big rocks into little rocks”. In practice, this involves everything from blowing up the rock to crushing and sorting the stone through to delivering our finished products to customers.
There are all sorts of people involved along the way, from our quarry management teams who look after our sites, to our technical teams who ensure the quality is right, to our commercial teams who sell our products and services.
The opportunity to build skills, gain knowledge and experience through in-role training with individual mentoring and a tailored development programme. You will receive time out to attend college or university and receive a nationally recognised qualification at the end of your apprenticeship.
