Imperial are looking for young people who have completed a level 3 college course/program in Commercial Vehicle maintenance.
For the right candidate, a very exciting and structured development program is being offered to reach a very high level see details below.Year 1: The employee will be:• Coached and mentored to carry out vehicle inspections independently• Mentored and coached to begin to carry out simple diagnostic work using approved company technology and systems• Fully competent at vehicle inspection and service by end of year 1Manufacturer Development:• Complete the Basic technicians training. By end of year 1.Year 2: The employee will be:• Start DAF Aid or Service 24 technician development mid-way through year 2• Manufacturer Development:• Successfully complete the Intermediate technicians training by end of year 2.• Complete Stage 1 of HGV/LGV licenseYear 3: The employee will be:• Fully Service 24 or DAF Aid competent by end of year• Mentored and coached into hosting toolbox talks• Manufacturer Development:• Successfully complete the DAF Advance technicians training by end of year 3.
