The Prince’s Trust believe that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities. They help 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.
The Prince's Trust is a national charity with local roots; with 19 centres in major cities, working in more than 600 schools and 40% of all Further Education colleges, The Prince's Trust is able to reach further into communities.

Apprenticeships with Prince's Trust

The Prince's Trust is a national charity with local roots; with 19 centres in major cities, working in more than 600 schools and 40% of all Further Education colleges, The Prince's Trust is able to reach further into communities.

Every month 13,000 young people reach out to The Prince's Trust looking for employability services. However, this is far more enquiries than opportunities they can offer. The Prince's Trust co-creates solutions that integrate with employer's recruitment, selection, talent and apprenticeship programmes.

The employers the Princes Trust work with report increased retention, loyalty and engagement, and delivering trainings, mentoring and 'buddying' offers opportunities for staff to volunteer and develop themselves impacting engagement and job satisfaction.

Some programmes the Princes Trust offers to help you fulfil your potential:



Improve your employability with mentoring

With the support from trained volunteer mentors acting as role models, these programmes aim to bridge the aspirations-attainment gap by linking young people with inspirational role models and helping boost their confidence, self-efficacy and long-term employability.

Get funding to train and learn

Development Awards can help to cover costs such as: course fees, transport or equipment to help you achieve your plan to get into education, training or employment. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can receive up to £500.

Boost your confidence

The Princes Trust has a 12-week personal development programme, for the chance to gain new skills, take a qualification and meet new people. You’ll be involved in a community project, residential trip and get work experience.

Support for starting a business

With the support of NatWest, we help thousands of young people a year to set up their own business through our Enterprise programme. From training and mentoring support to funding and resources, we're with you every step of the way.
