NCS is a four-phase programme specifically designed to provide you with all sorts of new experiences. Whether you're a daredevil or creative genius, talkative or more reserved, you'll be surprised by how much you're actually capable of, coming away with a host of new skills and bags of confidence. If you want to boost your UCAS statement or CV, meet incredible people, get your voice heard and have a lot of fun while you're at it, then NCS is for you.
Your NCS experience will be run by one of our incredible, dedicated partner organisations in your area. They'll know your region and use their local knowledge and unique expertise to support and inspire you on your journey. We also work collaboratively with charities, not-for-profits and private sector organisations to enrich the experience for everyone who takes part, as well as your wider community. Together, we really can create long-lasting change – starting with you.

NCS and GetMyFirstJob are now working in partnership to help young people like you, gain the right social and professional skills and find that crucial first step into a great job and career. From degree apprenticeships, technical skills, creative and marketing, science and business, apprenticeships offer more than ever before.
This partnership will provide NCS graduates access to apprenticeship opportunities through GetMyFirstJob, as well as our resources and information for young people, parents, carers and careers advisors. We helped over 25,000 young people into great work roles last year – will you be next?
