World famous DJ Lisa Lashes, Deborah Hewitt and PTS Training Academy have come together on the worlds first free and fully-funded music program where music and education collide!
The Lisa Lashes School of Music develops learners with the core skills required to enter into the music industry and transferable business skills to open up industry jobs and opportunities. LLSOM students can specialise in their chosen subject: DJing, Music Production, Events Management, Social Media, Radio Broadcasting and so much more.
With sites opening up nationally and internally, the school is looking to train the next generation of Artists. The school has proudly supported students into paid employment, further education, Apprenticeships and has discovered new talent, that have been signed to agencies for DJ-ing, Music Production and are able to work at the leading events in both the UK and further afield. The main aim is to support the night time economy and progress from a traineeship onto an Apprenticeship.
The LLSOM Traineeship has been designed to prepare young people for either an Apprenticeship or trainee role within the music industry. Some students may also use this as in insight into studying further within an area to specialise in.
The Traineeship offers an overview across many disciplines and more importantly helps the learner gain the Maths and English needed to be considered for a unique Apprenticeship.
Lisa Lashes School of Music have funding to recruit and deliver a free course for 16-24 year olds whom are classed as NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) for our 12-week program.
Within certain areas the school is also able to offer fast-track 6-week programs specialising in meeting the need of learners wishing to gain the grades to enter further education or gain employment whilst studying.
