Employer Information
When training Apprentices, we at Bosch want to ensure that you as Employers receive the best possible service, advice and guidance.
This is why we have produced a guidebook to help provide Employers with an understanding of the everyday legislative requirements when managing apprentices.

Key topics covered are:
Recruiting an Apprentice
We know that recruiting the right apprentice for your company and ensuring that they will have the relevant skills and knowledge to do the job you require will be vitally important. If you are considering employing an apprentice, place a call to our Apprenticeship Programme Recruitment Team who will fully explain the process of recruiting the right apprentice for your business.
To source potential applicants at the recruitment stage we will advertise your vacancy on established websites:
Find an apprenticeship.gov.uk
GetMyFirstJob.co.uk
Potential candidates will complete an application form that includes the opportunity for them to submit a personal profile. We will further review the applications to identify the strongest candidates to then complete a telephone interview. The vacancy is discussed in more detail and we find out more about the applicant.
The Recruitment Team will then supply your company with a short list of the best applicants in preparation for your own internal interview and selection process. Alternatively, if you have an employee or candidate that you would like to be considered for the programme, then please call us to discuss and see if this would be possible.
Levy & Non Levy Funding Information
The size of your business, how many employees work for you and your annual wage bill determines whether you are a levy or non-levy employer. The below links to the Government apprenticeships guides will help you to understand the requirements for taking on an apprentice and how they support apprenticeship funding.
