With experience, you could work as a 'lead ramp hand', lining up planes ready for the next flight. You could also train staff on equipment and procedures. You could move into supervisory management or passenger handling operations.
Order pickers select all the things on a customer's order and send them to be packed and dispatched.
Port operatives work with cargo, passengers and marine craft in ports and harbours.
Removals workers move household and office furniture and other items from one location to another.
Warehouse workers take delivery of goods and pack orders for dispatch.
Shelf fillers put stock out on supermarket shelves and in display cabinets. They also remove out of date items and help customers.
Fishing vessel skippers are in charge of the crew onboard sea-going fishing boats.
