Depending on the type of diving you do, you could:
You’d normally be self-employed as a commercial diver. With experience and further training, you could move into roles with extra responsibility and more pay, like life support technician or diving supervisor. If working in a dive centre you could move into a management role. You could also set up a business, or work in a related field where diving skills are necessary, like swimming pool engineering or maintenance.

Army officers command, manage and motivate teams of soldiers.
Offshore drilling workers drill for undersea oil and gas on offshore rigs.
Forklift truck engineers service and repair lift trucks.
Specialist search and rescue workers help locate and rescue people from hazardous environments.

Your apprenticeship will last 36 months, and successful apprentices will achieve a Water Industry Treatment Process Technician, Level: 3 (wastewater pathway) standard, endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships.You will need to be mobile in this role, well contribute up to 500 towards driving lessons and tests to help to get you on the road!
