School secretaries provide administrative support in schools.
You'll usually need 2 or more GCSEs at grades 9 to 3 (A* to D), or equivalent, for a Level 2 course. You'll need 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, for a Level 3 course.
You'll usually need 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and maths, for a Level 3 apprenticeship. You'll need 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) and A-Levels, or the equivalent, for a higher or degree apprenticeship.

With experience, you could progress to school business manager, or personal assistant (PA) to the headteacher.
Civil Service administrative officers work in government departments, carrying out policies and running services for the public.
Trade union officials represent, train and advise union members, carry out research and develop policy.
Local government officers put council policies into practice and provide local services.
Secretaries provide administrative support for all types of organisations.
Telephonists, or switchboard operators, answer and connect calls and take messages.
Arts administrators help to organise events and exhibitions, manage staff, and look after buildings like theatres or museums.
Join our team, and you’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

This role is responsible for supporting the talent development & inclusion team through the delivery of proactive coordination of L&D activities and associated administrative support. The role has designated responsibilities and projects incorporated.This role works closely with members of the Talent Development & Inclusion team and stakeholders across the business to provide a proactive and high-quality service in relation to coordination of Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion activities.
Sales matter in this role, but your real focus will be the customer. You’ll ask questions and explore possibilities to recommend the right finance, products, and installation options. You’ll use software to produce inspirational designs that will bring customer projects to life. Coordinating multiple projects & supporting customers virtually and face to face, you’ll take our customers on a journey from inspirational ideas through to delivery, helping to make their dreams a reality.
We are looking for a business apprentice to support our administration team to update and data cleanse our customer database.
