Description
Your main responsibilities within the department
will include the following:
- As an apprentice you will have the chance to
assist all our lawyers and work on a wide variety of cases. You will have
a significant level of supervised client contact. You will be part of a
committed and dynamic team who put the client at the centre of the
process.
- Communicating with clients, other firms of solicitors and
third parties by telephone or in writing including taking basic client instructions
and providing case updates when appropriate.
- Achieve time recording and fee income targets to ensure
profitable working.
- Ensuring compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Attending appropriate training events as and when required.
- Conducting Legal Research as requested by members of the
team.
- Completing relevant administration duties including
photocopying, scanning documents, amending documentation, filing, archiving and
file maintenance.

This team represents adult and children who have suffered severe and life changing or fatal injuries in an accident caused by someone else’s negligence. This might be a road traffic collision, an accident at work or an accident in another public or occupied place. We are a team of over 20 lawyers led by 5 partners. We are based in Sheffield. As an apprentice you will have the chance to assist all our lawyers and work on a wide variety of cases. You will have a significant level of supervised client contact. You will be part of a committed and dynamic team who put the client at the centre of the process.
Working hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm but there is the opportunity to work flexibly.
Annual Salary: £17,290
Assessment Events are earmarked to take place early September.
