Description
As a level 4 apprentice, you will learn more programming
languages/technologies and begin to specialise in your chosen area. You will work on a variety of projects as part of a team to further develop your skills across testing, analysing results and gain further understanding of the development life cycle.
Your duties will include:
- Work with the development team on existing and new projects, using HTML, CSS,
JavaScript/typescript, and Server-side technologies including .Net Core and C#
- Attend discovery and planning meetings to help the team decide what to build
- Attend and input into development team meetings
- Assist the support team with investigating support tickets and keeping
clients/internal teams informed of progress
- Assist the QA team with automated and manual testing of websites and
applications
NutriCalc are offering a competitive wage range between £15-£19K per annum, depending on experience. Please note, applications will be reviewed and interviews arranged on a regular basis. The start date can be brought forward for the right candidate and the closing date is subject to change.

- Level 3 qualification in a related subject or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
The successful candidate will be required to attend Exeter College once a week to work towards the completion of:
- Level 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship
This Apprenticeship is recognised for entry onto the register of IT technicians, confirming ISFA Level 3 Professional Competency.
- We are looking for someone who shows an interest in software development and an enthusiasm for learning new things
- Someone who uses a range of learning resources to develop new skills, such as online, books or trial and error
- You'll also need to be reliable and have a can-do approach to your workload.
- Asking questions is often key to developing new skills quickly but you will also be required to research and learn things by yourself
On the completion of the Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress within the organisation.
