Description

You will report to the onsite Management team at the South Molton site. You will be working closely with the onsite team of Carpenters to carry out all aspects of the Site Carpentry trade.

This will include, but is not limited to:

· Preparation of Materials

· Safe working practices

· Cleaning of areas and tools

· Storage and moving of materials

· Interpreting drawings and specifications

· Dedication to college and site work

· Work as a team and individually

· Maintain high standards of quality

· Ensure site rules are followed

· Work safely at all times


· Roofing and Joisting

· First and Second Fix

· Fitting doors, door frames and window frames,

· installing kitchens

· fitting staircases


Pay and benefits will include:


· Above Apprentice Minimum wage

· 24 days Annual Leave

· GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above, or 4-9) or equivalent, desirable but not essential
Level 2 site carpentry apprenticeship

· Passionate about the industry and learning your trade

· Happy to work in all weathers

· Willing to take on vocational and academic training

· Full of energy, initiative and commitment

· Good time management

We expect candidates to aim towards full time employment with one of our subcontractors once they are qualified.
