Description
Provide support to fee earners (Partners, Solicitors, Paralegals) in aspects of their casework.
Develop and apply knowledge and understanding of the law and the legal procedures and formalities relevant to the role.
Conduct accurate and timely research, analysis and application of the relevant law.
Draft legal documentation and correspondence.
Proof read documents.
Prepare and draft reports for clients.
Develop a good working knowledge of the key clients and contacts in their division.
Take responsibility for planning and organising workload effectively to deliver work in accordance with deadlines, expectations and cost estimate whilst also meeting quality standards.
Comply with file management requirements and procedures for all matters.
Apply a clear understanding of ethical concepts to work carried out.
Respond to queries in a timely manner, always demonstrating courtesy and professionalism.

5 GCSE's including maths and English Grade C/4 and above.
3 A-Levels at BBC or Equivalent.
As a Paralegal Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Paralegal Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Additional learning within the apprenticeship will enable you to be awarded a Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Services which can afford you exemptions from the first two years of the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship shall be delivered by a blend of online and face-to-face training from and on-the-job learning.
To be a success in the position Paralegal Apprentices will:
Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Have excellent organisational skills.
Realise when beyond capacity, or when a mistake has been
made, and proactively seek guidance and support.
Subject to performance and successful completion of the paralegal apprenticeship there may be an opportunity to apply for a permanent paralegal role within the firm and progress to a solicitor apprenticeship programme.
