Description

Within this exciting role your duties will include but may not be limited to the following:
  • Answering incoming calls and directing calls to the appropriate member of staff or taking messages, and dealing with queries where possible
  • Keeping computer databases up to date and entering data
  • Chasing outstanding accounts
  • Invoicing jobs
  • Compiling customer quotations
  • Dealing with clients on email and the phone
  • Making refreshments
  • Chasing outstanding jobs

  • Maths and English at C/4 or above
  • Own transport is an advantage but not essential

Whilst the delivery of training and some of the content will be bespoke to employer’s needs, there are key elements that will be covered throughout. These will focus on the importance of:

  • Contributing to improvement of Business Performance
  • Developing / Preparing and / or Delivering Presentations
  • Preparing business documentation

  • Storing / Retrieving / Analysing and/or presenting Business Data
  • Basic Financial Management principles
  • Able to listen and then work independently
  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Friendly and happy to work as part of a team
  • Good timekeeping
Upon the completion of the apprenticeship the right candidate may be offered a job on the administration team - There may also be room to develop within the company itself using other training schemes.
The working hours for this role are 8:30am to 5pm.
