A wedding planner is responsible for helping our couples organise their wedding from the initial planning stages to the big day itself.
As an apprentice you will learn about the whole coordination process of weddings, including marketing, sales, catering, entertainment. You will develop your communication and organisation skills, working with our couples, vendors and the internal team to deliver the highest quality events that always run smoothly!
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs in a professional and friendly manner.
- Creating and organising plans and timelines for wedding days.
- Managing budgets and making sure all expense are catered for.
- Using Microsoft Word and Excel and specialist hospitality software.
- Answering the telephone is a professional manner, dealing with enquires in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Assisting in coordinating other internal teams at the hotel to ensure smooth running of wedding days.
- Troubleshooting issues that might arise on wedding days.

- Someone who is an excellent verbal communicator, who has a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
- IT Literate with a good understanding of Microsoft
- Confident using email.
- Understanding of what high quality hospitality service should be.
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
