Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated,
enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice, who can work closely within a growing team.
You should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable
nature.
During your apprenticeship you will be required
to;
- Contribute
a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for
children placed in the Setting
- Give support to other personnel within the Setting;
- Implement
the daily routine in the base room.
- To contribute to the children's care needs
- To provide a safe, stimulating environment
- To provide continuity of care
- To provide high quality care
- To make sure the children enjoy and achieve
- Help the children to learn, develop and grow

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little Stars Childcare will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
- Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Little Stars Childcare's dedicated training provider, Realise.
