Overview: 
Due to continued growth, we're now seeking a Data Admin Apprentice to work alongside the health and safety manager in the coordinate of all health and safety related tasks within the business. 



This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in data management while contributing to the safety and well-being of our construction projects.



As a Health and Safety Data Apprentice, you will assist in maintaining accurate health and safety records, generating insightful reports, and supporting our team's commitment to a secure working environment.



Salary: £17,440.80 per annum.



Main duties will include: 





  • Assist the Health & Safety Manager with daily administrative tasks 


  • Create and manage spreadsheets to record daily, monthly, and annual safety checks across the office, workshop, and site 


  • Organize maintenance checks and repairs for vehicles and equipment as needed 


  • Liaise with external Health & Safety bodies to ensure compliance with guidelines 


  • Organize staff training sessions, including first aid and refresher courses 


  • Support in data management and analysis related to health and safety protocols 


  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all health and safety activities and training programs 




Desirable skills:





  • Basic IT skills would be preferred 


  • Must be self-motivated and able to work off your own initiative 


  • Must be verbally confident both in person and on the phone 


  • Previous customer service or admin experience 


  • Good knowledge of MS packages including MS Excel




Personal qualities: 





  • Keen to learn


  • Smart appearance




Essential: 
Having a full driving licence and your own vehicle is required - as the role involves travel.



Entry requirements: 





  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
