About the Kitchen Team Leader Role:

Day-to-Day responsibilities:

- Learning how to create all the dishes using the correct methods and making sure to get every dish right

- Keeping to the correct health and safety procedures

- Keeping a safe and hygiene work environment

- Leading the team to excellence and ensuring they are working to the best of their abilities

- Helping to organise the kitchen team's rota

- Stock control and ordering

- Helping with the general training and development of the team

Customer - Our customers are our guests so you will have a passion to deliver high quality food, leaving them with everlasting memories and an experience they looking forward to returning to.

Team - You will have a natural flare to drive meaningful relationships between the back and front of house, working together as one team and being a part of the Greene King family !

No previous qualifications required but must have previous experience within a kitchen and supervisory experience.

The key dates are to be used as a guide only. Should the right candidate be found, this vacancy may close early. Greene King pay National Minimum wage for age, including their Apprentices. The current minimum wage rates are £4.55 an hour for under 18's, £6.45 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £8.20 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £8.72 for those over 25. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week). For your information, the current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.15 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year, however this is not relevant with Greene King. These rates apply from 1st April 2020.
