Description
Initially you will be involved on a variety of tasks, such as monthly and quarterly management accounts, VAT returns and various bookkeeping assignments and reconciliations for clients, payroll, plus exposure to statutory accounts work.
There will be opportunities to assist with R&D claims, personal and corporate taxation, and EIS/SEIS work.
Under appropriate supervision, you will progress to working to produce annual statutory accounts and record keeping for a number of clients while starting to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for manager review. As well as providing support to clients from an accounting perspective, you will also be communicating with HMRC and really gaining a full insight into the world of accounts and taxation.
In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our customers and the same goes for our people. The apprenticeship route has been chosen as it allows for a more structured approach to qualifying whilst also developing the apprentices knowledge, skills and behaviours. In studying towards AAT we provide full study support for exams including paid study leave, mentorship and coaching as we support you all the way on your journey to becoming a qualified accountant in the future. The preferred study method is live on line and we allow one day per week to study. Line managers are fully supportive and will attend induction call and reviews.

As experience is developed further the apprentices will move on to more senior and managerial roles within the company. As we operate in UK and India we have multiple opportunities to develop careers in the firm or with clients.
