Description

This role will suit a competitive rider who wishes to take advantage of riding many different types of horses - both on the flat and over fences. Training for both will be given - along with help with your own horse if applicable. They value enthusiasm along with a sense of "can-do" while at work.

They will need help with travelling to competitions etc if needed - there is also the possibility of European travel!

This role requires a competent rider, so must have riding experience.

A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.

Although formal qualifications are not a priority - this could suit someone at BHS nearing 3 working towards 4.

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and is passionate about working with horses!

There is the possibility to progress in this role, and also the possibility of traveling to European shows!
The wage may increase depending on your experience.

There is accommodation available on-site at the cost of £280.00 a month for anyone who wouldn't be able to make your own way to and from the yard each day reliably.

Livery is available onsite from £200 per month, but this would be discussed with the employer.
