You’ll join our collaborative Policy and Communications
team as a Social Media Content Creator Apprentice to help us demonstrate the
value of skills to society.
We’re looking for a motivated and creative
individual with strong ideation skills to bring new ideas to the team and help
us develop social-first content to engage our audiences.
You’ll also create compelling written content
for various communications channels and assist with visual and audio
production. You’ll work closely with teams within our Corporate Affairs &
Foundation directorate and the Marketing directorate, offering you

Apprenticeship standard, some of the key areas of
activity and learning will be:
• Work closely with communications and marketing
colleagues to plan and execute engaging
content that aligns with business objectives.
• Develop social-first content in response to briefs,
staying up to date with evolving social
media trends to ensure relevance and drive engagement.
• Create compelling written content such as articles,
blogs, scripts, and press releases,
optimising content for different mediums and audiences.
• Create visual and audio content suitable for use across
a variety of media and platforms.
• Schedule social media and online content using
appropriate tools and techniques to maintain
brand consistency.
• Evaluate content effectiveness against original plans
and use social media and
communications analytics to produce reports and recommend
improvements.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay up
to date with trends and technology
and conduct social listening, bringing new content
innovations and ideas to the team.
• Plan and execute content shoots, ensuring high-quality
production and alignment with brand
guidelines.
• Support for virtual and in-person events, capturing and
editing social-specific content for
multiple platforms.
• Edit existing brand assets for social platforms,
including Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels,
and TikTok, ensuring they are optimised for each platform.
• Produce briefs for the creation of digital assets such
as images, videos, animations and learn
to update branded templates using relevant design
software.
• Build relationships with teams across the organisation
to gather insights that inform content
creation, bringing our brand, values, and key campaigns to
life.
