Description
From awe inspiring safaris to adventure voyages you will receive on the job training on how to bring these experiences to life and make sure every aspect of the trip goes smoothly and to the highest standard. There will be lots of opportunity to develop your creative side with marketing a key aspect of the role.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Greet customers face to face in our city centre store
- Shadow the managing director, helping arrange the diary and book in appointments.
- Assist with the presentation and administration of customer bookings.
- Upsell trips and holidays, arranging restaurant reservations or that unique day trip a customer has always dreamt of!
- Answer any inbound calls and reply to incoming emails
- Collect data of all parties on a booking in a professional manner
- Load bookings onto an internal CRM system
- Manage flight and hotel bookings
- Liaise with our key suppliers on new enquires, current bookings and potential marketing collaborations. Both in store, at industry events and over the phone.
- Support with advertising on the social media page and website, you will be encouraged and supported to use your creativity!
- Window display and point of sale presentation.

On completing your apprenticeship, you will have all the skills and tools to succeed in the luxury travel industry as a qualified consultant. With the contacts and knowledge gained you will have a growing client base and access to industry perks. You will be offered a generous commission scheme and continued to be supported in growing your knowledge and own customers.
Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5:00pm
