Description

Pentagon Freight are a leading specialist logistics provider for industries for over 50 years and our goal is to maintain our great customer service levels. We are now looking for an IT Analyst Apprentice.

Responsibilities:





  • Work on incidents and service requests, answer phones, respond to chats, escalate tickets and take escalations, complete project work and advance skill level through training and knowledge transfer


  • Provide excellent customer service support for core MS Office issues, as well as other hardware, software applications and internal application issues


  • Resolve or escalate issues while recording all actions, communications, notes and resolutions for issues being investigated through provided tools and systems and in accordance with HelpDesk procedures


  • Maintain knowledge articles and provide end-user assistance, knowledge transfer and training for area of expertise




Desirable skills:





  • Good organisational skills


  • Attention to detail and accuracy in checking and processing information


  • Excellent customer service skills


  • Good IT skills


  • Good written communication skills




Salary:



£24,000 per annum



Working hours:



Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.



On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
