SLG are a design-driven international beauty business with a global ambition. Our company designs develops & globally scales incredible beauty brands. We are headquartered at Studio 19, our award-winning workspace, studios, and lab. It is a truly remarkable place of work based in the town centre of regency Cheltenham.



Main role / Responsibilities:





  • Assist in administering and supporting all company systems, including Syspro ERP and Altido CRM systems.


  • Supporting the IT team in delivering new systems and data integration solutions.


  • Learning and utilising SQL for data management and system support.


  • Supporting system integrations with third-party applications using middleware.


  • Assisting in the development of data warehouses.


  • Supporting in creating and maintaining Power BI reports and datasets and ensuring data integrity and system security.


  • Providing technical support and training to end-users and collaborating with third-party vendors for system management and support.


  • Providing Departmental cover in the absence of the Head of Business Systems ensuring continuity and smooth operation of critical business systems




Desirable Skills/Qualities :





  • Previous entry level experience in similar role and basic knowledge of scripting and reporting


  • Knowledge or certifications in SQL, ERP systems, or Business Intelligence tools.


  • Familiarity with XML and CSV data formats.


  • Basic understanding of integration middleware and related technologies.


  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly bespoke or custom-built solutions.


  • Exposure to data visualisation tools and techniques.


  • Basic proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools.


  • Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion, consistently meeting deadlines with a methodical and analytical mindset




Entry Requirements:



Standard entry:





  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)


  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)




Plus:





  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above 


  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Future Prospects:



We are looking for a motivated individual who can form part of our core Tech team on a permanent basis once the apprenticeship is complete.



There will also be an opportunity for the apprentice to grow internally and upskill onto a higher apprenticeship level.
