Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
The role will involve ensuring support tickets are kept up to date in ServiceNow, as well as documenting or escalating tasks as appropriate to ensure a clear audit trail and progression of issues



Salary: £26,000 per annum.



Duties: 





  • Provide technical support to customers both internal and external through a range of communication channels 


  • Interpret technical specifications relevant to the task 


  • Apply the appropriate security policies to the tasks in line with organisational requirements 


  • Undertake the relevant processes with the relevant tools and technologies to resolve technical issues  


  • Communicate with all levels of stakeholders, talking them through steps to take to resolve issues or set up systems, keeping them informed of progress and managing escalation and expectations 


  • Practice guided continuous self-learning to keep up to date with technological developments to enhance relevant skills and take responsibility for own professional development 


  • Create quick reference guides 


  • Provide timely resolution of issues with an emphasis on keeping the customer informed (in person, via email or via Teams) regardless of who provides the solution

  • Graduate from a degree in a different pathway




Entry requirements:





  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade. Acceptable qualifications include:


  • Two A levels in one or more similar subject.*


  • Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject.


  • International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject.


  • BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject.


  • A work experience route (2-3 years) in a similar subject-related role.




*'Similar subject' relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with 'Digital and Technology Solutions'. Typically this would be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.



Please note: Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
