Furniture Finishing Specialist

Attica Studios is expanding, and we’re seeking a passionate Wood Finishing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in producing exceptional finishes, skillfully combining traditional and modern techniques to achieve our signature tones. We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of wood finishing and woodworking, who thrives on detailed work and is eager to contribute to the creation of high-quality furniture that meets our exacting standards. Beyond finishing, the right candidate will play a key role in developing and optimising our processes and quality control, ensuring every piece is completed to perfection.


All our projects are crafted exclusively from solid wood, with a focus on premium materials like English Oak and Walnut. We seamlessly integrate high-end modern and traditional joinery techniques to create one-of-a-kind, bespoke freestanding furniture, alongside a range of standardised furniture and home goods. We take immense pride in producing pieces that are not only visually striking but also impeccably finished from every angle. Achieving this level of perfection requires meticulous effort and a keen eye for detail—qualities we believe must be inherent in our candidates. Contract Terms:

About the Position:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Preparing, sanding, and finishing wood surfaces for both bespoke and standard collection furniture pieces.

Applying stains, hardwax oils, and paints to achieve a flawless finish

Restoring antique furniture using advanced finishing techniques

Finely tuning runners with modern soft close for optimal functionality

Assisting with quality control to ensure all pieces meet our high standards

Contributing to workshop organisation and maintenance, ensuring tools and materials are in optimal condition

Collaborating closely with the team to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results

Upholding safety and cleanliness in the workshop to maintain a functional working environment
