Description

An exciting time to join Dreams as an Apprentice General Production Operative at the Dreams Bed Factory in Oldbury, West Midlands. Working in a busy production environment you will learn key skills associated with the manufacturing of divans, headboards or mattresses to specific quality control criteria and specifications. The role will involve on the job training given by experienced bed makers and upon successful completion you will receive a nationally recognised Level 2 apprenticeship qualification.

What you`ll be doing:

-Ensuring that goods are produced in accordance with specifications following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP`s)

-Working to production targets

-Learning how to operate key machinery in the production processes

-Ensuring Immediate working area is kept clean and tidy at all times

-Understanding and working to Health and safety guidelines at all times

-6 hours off the job training each week

-Working alongside experienced members of the team between hours of 6am-3pm

This list is not extensive, and you will be expected to fulfil additional responsibilities as per business requirements.
