The Role
From day one, you’ll dive into our Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3 apprenticeship. Over 18 months, you’ll learn to support and manage colleagues, oversee projects, execute operational plans, solve problems, and build strong relationships. With support from our training provider Coach, leadership team, and a dedicated mentor (an experienced Assistant Manager), you’ll have all the guidance you need to succeed.
Job specific duties
- Lead the store, in the store/Operations manager's absence.
- Support the wider management team in ensuring, key control measures and security practices in-store are managed in accordance with the company’s procedures and policies at all times. Employee and customer safety is always your first priority.
- Completion of store routines document; ensure the store is trading legally and safely and that customers needs are met. Dealing with any enquiries and complaints as appropriate.
- Daily management of colleagues including; providing day to day supervision of colleagues including motivation, welfare, arranging appropriate staffing levels and supporting recruitment, induction and training & development in line with company policies, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Work with the store leadership team to ensure the whole store operates effectively. To support the achievement of sales and cost targets set for the shop.
- Support in continually developing and improving all store colleague’s knowledge in 4C customer service, to optimise and grow sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Support the wider management team to ensure all employees receive effective, thorough and regular up to date training and timely reviews.
- At all times; take care of your health and safety and that of others by complying with health and safety obligations, and reporting promptly any defects, risks or potential hazards.
- Support the wider management team in ensuring all colleagues are thoroughly trained in the Health and Safety procedures of the store including manual handling and risk assessments.
- Colleague deployment; Support the wider management team to ensure we have the right people in the right place, at the right time.
- Carry out on occasion and as directed, any other duties as required in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within your capabilities.

- If you are 21 yrs and over £12.05phr, 18 yrs - 20 yrs £11.37phr and under 18 yrs £8.77 phr.
- Up to 5% annual bonus and up to £300 per month gain share bonus
