Kids at Heart would love for a level 3 apprentice to join their team and learn from their dedicated staff team, please see the roles and responsibilities below:

- Planning activities for the childrenLearn to write effective written observations and recording achievements and wow moments
- Completing training sessions and coursework required for your apprenticeship
While the work can be really fun and rewarding, shifts can be long and demanding. Some days are harder than others. Tasks like mealtimes and cleaning up are less fun than looking after the children but form an integral part of the role.

- Great
communication skills both verbally and written.

equivalent English ( grade C or 4+ ) would be an advantage

- Level 2 Early
Years qualification or minimum 9 months of relevant experience is preferred
- Option for skills Bootcamp course to start accelerated apprenticeship at level 3 for the right candidate.
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Kids at Heart Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
- Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Kids at Heart Nursery dedicated training provider, Realise.

Apprenticeship will enable apprentices to access higher level jobs within the
wider childcare sector, e.g. Room Leader, Nursery Supervisor or Nursery
Manager.
- There is also
opportunity for apprentices to go on to further study at higher levels,
particularly the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship standard.
SHIFTS: 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am to 6pm
