Description

Sirens Hair and Beauty are working with Kleek Apprenticeships to help train new team members with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to become an advanced beauty therapist. Alongside the outstanding training being provided by the salon team and Kleek educators you will also be learning how the business works, all while earning a wage.

Duties will include:

Assisting therapists - Learn firsthand from seasoned professionals.Reception and answering telephone enquiries - Be the welcoming face and voice of the salon.Greeting customers - Spread smiles and warmth to everyone who walks through the doors.General salon duties - Dive into the heartbeat of a bustling salon.

You will receive training towards modules including...

Anatomy and Physiology - Understand the body's structure and functions to provide effective treatments.Body Electrical Treatments - Utilise electrical modalities for targeted body treatments and enhancements.Consultation and Lifestyle - Tailor treatments to individual needs, considering lifestyle factors for comprehensive care.Facial Electrical Treatments - Implement electrical techniques to rejuvenate and enhance facial skin.Swedish Massage - Deliver relaxing and therapeutic massage techniques to promote overall well-being.Running a Salon Business Effectively - Manage and grow a successful salon operation with strategic planning and exceptional customer service.Working Safely and Hygienically in the Salon - Maintain a clean and safe environment to ensure the well-being of clients and staff.

Other. Beauty therapist Level 2, Pass, Desirable

You will be training towards an advanced beauty therapist, Level 3 qualification, supported by Kleek Apprenticeships and the team at your home salon. Advanced beauty therapists deliver specific treatments such as; body electrical treatments, facial electrical treatments and Swedish massage. They provide post treatment aftercare and make future recommendations. You will work closely with clients and will need the ability to put them at ease, and generally be pleasant and personable.

After you have completed your advanced beauty therapist, Level 3 qualification you will be a fully qualified therapist and will be able to work independently within your salon.

You will be able to develop your skills further by advancing onto any of the other apprenticeships available with Kleek Apprenticeships, each of which will allow you to increase your knowledge add to your skill set and become ever more valuable to your salon.

Once you have successfully completed the program you will be submitted for your End Point Assessment. The EPA is an assessment of all the knowledge, skills, and behaviours you have learned throughout your apprenticeship, it confirms you are ready and competent in the career path you have chosen.

These assessments have been designed and developed by employers in the beauty industry to reflect the daily work of a beauty therapist. This makes them very sought after by employers across the industry.
