Our Dispute Resolution team provide legal advice across Commercial, Regulatory, Employment, Insurance, Property Disputes and Construction law.
However this team dsn't just consist of lawyers, they also have data analysts to manage and advise on the data and documents required for litigation specially using a system called eDiscovery.
This process is the electronic aspect of identifying, collecting and producing electronically stored information (ESI) in response to a request for production in a law suit or investigation.
We need new talent to join them and that's where you come in!
Data Analyst Apprenticeship:

We've been successfully recruiting apprentices in to the business for the past eight years and now we have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst Apprentice (eDiscovery) to join us in our Southampton office.
Whether you're leaving school or college or changing career path, this Data Analyst Apprenticeship (eDiscovery) programme offers a formal qualification, protected study time, an abundance of support and valuable hands-on experience through paid on-the-job learning.
Salary:
£21,840 per annum.
What will you actually be doing?
You will work as part of our eDiscovery team and learn to provide technical services for the preservation, collection, analysis and subsequent use of large volumes of data in litigation.
The role: [Your exciting new role will include:]
- Identifying data required for litigation, and ensuring this data is appropriately preserved and collected
- Analysing data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies and communicate these to the legal teams
- Working alongside the legal teams to identify key documents and to prepare legal cases
- Preparing data and documents for presentation (for example, at trial)
- Assisting with the management of projects to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
- Identifying, investigating and resolve issues which arise from the data/documents
- Providing technical assistance and best use recommendations to the legal teams and clients on the use of eDiscovery tools, which is one of the latest pieces of legal technology
- Assisting with the ongoing development/implementation of best eDiscovery practices within the firm (including the use of Generative AI)
- Assisting to prepare legal documentation for the disclosure stage of litigation
Desirable skills & Personal qualities:
- Team player
- Effective communication
- Admin experience
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
