You will be assisting Lisa with the groundwork with their foals and youngsters right through to the backing and breaking of the youngsters ready to be ridden away.

Description

Anmore Dressage are now working alongside Jason Webb and their own resident young horse trainer Lisa, they are firm believers in the early handling and socialization of their foals and youngstock.

Other duties to include: Mucking out, Grooming and all general yard duties.

Must be confident around foals and young horses of all sizes.
A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

Calm and patient, Anmore are looking for a dedicated individual keen to learn all about the process of working with young horses right from the very beginning through to the backing and breaking stage when they are ready to be ridden away.
Progression to Level 3 Senior Groom and or possibility of full time role on completion of apprenticeship.
There is no accommodation available with position so please make sure you can get yourself to and from the yard daily before applying for this position.
