Key roles and responsibilities:
- Draft written applications for bail, bad character submissions, and letters of representation.
- Brief counsel, instruct experts, and conduct client conferences to prepare thoroughly for trial.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and court directions are adhered to.
- Representing clients during police station interview providing invaluable legal advice.
- Attending Prisons to conduct client conferences.

- Poficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
- Familiarity with legal databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software is a plus, but not essential.

candidates must have 96 UCAS points equivalent to a CCC at A-level

candidates who have started University/Higher Education in Law will not be
eligible
As a Paralegal Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the
Paralegal Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Additional learning within the
apprenticeship will enable you to be awarded a Level 4 Certificate of Higher
Education in Legal Services which can afford you exemptions from the first
two years of the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship.
Your apprenticeship shall
be delivered by online training from and on-the-job learning.
