We are looking for a motivated Resourcer Admin Apprentice to support our team with essential administrative and recruitment tasks.



Vacancy Description:



As a Resourcer Admin Apprentice in the public sector team, you will assist the initial recruitment process by sourcing candidate information, ensuring compliance, and keeping internal systems updated. The public sector team works with clients such as the NHS, Leeds University and Leeds City Council therefore this is an opportunity  to develop skills in recruitment, data management, and compliance in a busy office environment.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Candidate Sourcing & Data Entry: Assist in gathering and entering candidate details into our recruitment system, including contact information, job preferences, and other relevant data.


  • Pay Rate Administration: Input and update candidate pay rates on the system, ensuring accuracy for payroll processing.


  • DBS Checks & Compliance Management: Coordinate DBS checks for candidates, ensuring compliance with all legal and public sector requirements. Organize and verify compliance documentation, such as right-to-work checks and references, ensuring all records are up to date.


  • System Maintenance: Update and maintain candidate records within our internal systems, ensuring accurate and organized data management.


  • Communication & Candidate Liaison: Contact candidates to request and follow up on missing information, such as compliance documentation or ID verification.


  • General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including filing, scanning, and updating candidate profiles.




Desirable Skills and Personal Qualities:





  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately input and manage candidate data.


  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with candidates and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.


  • Good Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


  • Basic IT Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and a willingness to learn new software tools.


  • Proactive Attitude: A positive and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.


  • Good telephone manner




Entry Requirements:



  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
