Description
The successful candidate duties will include:
- Performing bookkeeping using manual records, excel and accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
- Preparation of VAT returns from raw accounting data.
- Reconciling data both manually and on accounting software.
- Reporting directly to senior staff.
- Scope to develop to produce accounts to trial balance stage, from bookkeeping records.
- Assisting payroll department in running basic payrolls.
- Candidate will be given a degree of autonomy in their bookkeeping procedures, to develop their own ways of thinking.
- As we are a busy accounting firm with over 600 clients, the client must be able to work unsupervised, be receptive to advice and be commercial and logical thinking.

Salary: National Minimum Wage for age with a salary
review every 3 months.
