Description
Based in Quinton Rhymes Nursery prides itself on offering a warm and safe nursery environment with highly qualified staff.
They are looking for a dedicated apprentice to join the established and enthusiastic team to complete a L3 early years educator apprenticeship with us.
This role will involve;
- Caring for children aged from 0 - 5years
- Providing an enabling environment to support children's learning & development
- Completing regular observations to help support and promote learning & development
- Providing a safe and secure environment through following policies & procedures
- Supporting individual care routines to meet individual needs
- Participate in staff meeting / training course to support personal development
- Commit to the completion of the level 3 qualification

Written and spoken English, basic I.T skills
- GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
- Option for skills Bootcamp course to start accelerated apprenticeship at level 3 for the right candidate.
- Experience caring for young children preferred, must be willing to complete required training.
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Rhymes Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Rhymes Nursery‘s dedicated training provider, Realise.
