Employer Description:



Blacktop Media (BTM) is owned by YouTuber and entrepreneur “The Halal Ham”. It is a production company and social media agency. They create real life looking videos made from the phone, which is then posted online.



As BTM is growing, we have gone from filming just low production staged encounters to now creating influencers as well as creating high production shoots. Hiring this role will help BTM to expand in the other fields with Creating new shows and managing and operating talent as well as overseeing the content which covers the whole company!



Vacancy Description:



4 Key responsibilities





  • Creating & Managing BTM talent


  • Creating content with BTM talent


  • Producing BTM shows with production team


  • Creating and managing a spreadsheet with content ideas (both influencer, Karen and original shows)




Creating & Managing BTM talent:





  • Create characters based on actors/people who we know and control their channels. Managing their social accounts, Tik Tok, FB & insta. 




Creating content with BTM talent:





  • This is to create the content for BTM talent, creating videos with the CEO, his daughter and the paid actors. 1 video should go out everyday on EVERYONES platforms, this can be arranged with the current social media manager or done by yourself. 




Producing BTM shows with Production Team:





  • I want us to be known for creating GREAT shows now. So recreating TV shows into social media formats. We will be using ‘The Halal Ham’ YouTube channel for this. Have a look at vice and see what they do too.

It is a need for you to have a driving licence and a car.



Entry Requirements:

 



  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary and Role:





  • The role will pay £14,000 per annum, with bonus structures in place.


  • If all channels do 10m+ views a month with your content or if there are 30m views a month I will give you a £500.00 bonus.


  • We can negotiate at the salary after the first 4 months and as time gs on,  the same with the  bonuses, based on your performance.

Future Prospects:





  • After completion of the programme you would gain a Multi-Channel Marketer L3 Apprenticeship. If the opportunity to stay within the company is there then you can do that. If you would like to continue your development on a higher level apprenticeship with us, you can also do that.
