contribute a high standard of administration within the nursery

within the Setting;

implement monthly and annual tasks to keep the administration of the nursery up
to date.

hrs a week ( to include apprentice off the job hours)
Pay £6.40 initially (apprentice wage)
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. To
manage their own time to carry out their tasks and duties
2. To
ensure the administration of the business is of a high quality
3. To be
aware of the high profile of The Exwick Ark Ltd and to uphold its standards at
all times.
4. To
have a good knowledge of company policies and procedures relevant to
administration of the business
5. Support
the senior administrator to keep Book keeping up to date, including reconciling
bank statements weekly to keep customer accounts up to date.
6. Support
the senior administrator in doing invoicing for the nursery fees and dealing
with queries about the invoices
7. Producing
online documentation for the nurseries as the company transfers to becoming
less reliant on paper
8. Communication
with parents/ carers including being in the front office dealing with the
public and staff; Sending out emails/ messages to parents/ carers to include
about fees and term dates and government funding. Responding to enquiries about
the nursery in a timely and professional manner.
9. Having
completed GDPR training become responsible for complying with GDPR across the
company. Keep the Data Protection folder up to date. Report any breaches.
10. Make
sure that recruitment processes are followed and managers are informed of progress
of recruits. Make sure that training logs are kept up to date for all the
nurseries.
11. Organise
training sessions (Paediatric First Aid, Curriculum training, professional
development courses) and make sure staff are booked onto training as needed.
12. To
Liaise with the Health and Safety officer to make sure the Health and safety
log is kep up to date across the nurseries. Oversee each settings Risk
Assessments and monitor progress. Ensure insurance for the nurseries is up to
date.
13. Teaching
colleagues how to use Office 365 (training is available in Office 365). Learn
how to administrate the Office 365 system.
14. Analysis
training records and report back to setting managers. Liaise with managers to
collate training records and plan training.

and managing resources including purchasing
16. Support
senior administrator in enrolling new children onto nursery systems
17. Support
the Exwick Ark Ltd nurseries in the social media presence.
18. To
undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the senior manager or the
company directors.
