Salary£31,000, rising to £32,250 in the second year.
LocationLondon/Hybrid
This role allows for a balance of 50% time between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements may evolve based on business requirements. Some on-site work (e.g., film locations) will also be required.

Job OverviewTfL’s Professional Services teams are focused on putting customers at the heart of the business while growing non-fare revenue streams to invest in improving the transport network.
TfL is integral to London, globally recognised and locally loved. Its commercial partnerships, film, and media teams leverage over £200 million in non-fare revenue for the business. As the third-largest revenue stream, the team works with the advertising, film, and brand licensing industry to drive growth in innovative ways.

Sustainability is embedded in TfL’s work ethos to protect and regenerate the natural world. Ethical and sustainable practices are integrated into all commercial contracts, reducing waste and employing carbon-efficient technologies.
What will graduates do?The two-year development programme consists of up to four six-month placement rotations. The aim is to provide graduates with a wide range of skills and experiences for a successful career.
While every graduate’s journey is unique, a typical pathway may include:
Placement 1: TfL Film Office - 6 monthsThe Film Office facilitates filming across the network, from small fashion shoots and music videos to large Netflix productions.
- Showcase TfL’s unique filming locations to clients, including location managers and directors.
- Collaborate with internal B2B marketing teams and production publicists to promote TfL locations.
- Supervise production shoots on-site, ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.
Placement 2: Brand Licensing - 6 monthsThe Brand Licensing team protects TfL’s brand and assets, from the iconic roundel to the ‘moquette’ fabric patterns on trains.
- Work with partners to create products, such as adidas/Arsenal training kits or Kurt Geiger handbags, and develop marketing content to drive sales.
- Collaborate with the agency IMG to secure partnerships and produce licensed products for global sale.
- Ensure trademarks are registered to support commercial activities.
Placement 3: Commercial Partnerships & Experiential - 6 monthsThis team creates memorable moments on the network through collaborative partnerships.
- Learn about the media marketplace and TfL’s role in it, contributing to ideation sessions and sales pitches.
- Support partnership delivery, including station tours and stakeholder updates.
- Identify and present new opportunities for commercial partnerships.
Placement 4: Advertising - 6 monthsThe Advertising team manages TfL’s advertising estate across rail and bus shelters.
- Identify and introduce new advertising assets using customer data and financial insights.
- Collaborate with media partners on initiatives to boost the out-of-home (OOH) advertising market.
- Update other commercial teams on partner activities and new developments.
Across all placements, graduates have flexibility to work on projects that align with their skillsets and interests. All graduates will complete all placements to ensure a thorough understanding of the various teams.
