Overview:
You will join Cavendish as a Data Analyst Apprentice whilst also enrolling in QA’s Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship Programme.
The broad purpose of your occupation is to source, format and present data securely in a relevant way for analysis using basic methods; to communicate outcomes appropriate to the audience; analyse structured and unstructured data to support business outcomes; blend data from multiple sources as directed and apply legal and ethical principles when manipulating data.
You will work across the Group, reporting into Marketing and Business Intelligence Director and engaging with stakeholders across the business.
Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum.
Main tasks / Responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to:]
- Help facilitate the management of data in the CRM
- Input, extract, and manipulate data within the CRM and other applications
- Download and clean datasets from numerous sources
- Manipulate and analyse datasets from multiple sources to find trends and insights
- Join datasets from multiple sources to gain insight
- Create and update records in CRM
- Perform sense-checks and due diligence on CRM data
- Research key information to populate the CRM system
What we are looking for:
Essential skills and qualities:
- Have a keen understanding of the Financial Services sector and how Capital Markets operate
- Have an understanding of basic IT and its application in business
- Competent user of Microsoft Office especially Excel
- An understanding of multi-channel marketing and its benefits
- Strong communication, interpersonal and active listening skills
- A high level of self-motivation and flexible approach
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to manage own workload
Entry requirements:
Standard entry:
- Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
Plus:
- 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:
- 40hrs a week.
- Monday – Thursday in office,
- Friday working from home – 8:30am – 5:30pm.
