Description
A lovely friendly community nursery situated in Hollinsend park providing care for children from the age of 2 right up to school reception.
Duties will include;
- To look after and care for the children's needs.
- Make sure that you understand and follow Safeguarding & Health and safety policies in place
- To work as part of the team in delivering the ethos, values and principals of the Nursery.
- Building meaningful relationships with children and their parents/carers.
- Working and supporting with existing practitioners to support their daily jobs and roles.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Hollinsend Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered through Hollinsend Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise..
Time management, Kindness towards the children and other members of staff
level 3 apprenticeship training to become fully qualified
