VPZ is a leading vape shop company based in Newbridge, Edinburgh, specializing in the sale of e-cigarettes, vaping devices, e-liquids, and related accessories. The company caters to both novice and experienced vapers, offering a wide range of products from well-known brands in the vaping industry. VPZ is looking to expand its team and is offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to kick-start their career in e-commerce and digital marketing.



Overview:
As a Digital E-Commerce Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across various aspects of retail e-commerce, including UX, SEO, business operations, project management, and website management.



What you’ll be doing:





  • Learning to become proficient using internal CRM systems like Ahrefs, Search Console, Shopify, Ometria, Microsoft Dynamics, and Google Analytics.


  • Collaborating with others to ensure a seamless customer experience using Microsoft Teams and Outlook.


  • Assisting with website troubleshooting and integrating new features to enhance user journeys


  • Collecting and analysing user feedback to improve website performance and assist with SEO strategies


  • Supporting email marketing campaigns and social media promotions, and generating performance reports using Excel


  • Participating in order processing, stock management, and online fulfilment


  • Contributing to projects aimed at improving e-commerce operations




Desirable skills:





  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.


  • Analytical skills for interpreting data and generating reports.


  • Ability to use CRM tools and analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.).


  • Organised and detail oriented.


  • Eagerness to learn and grow in your career.


  • Ability to work well both in a team environment and on your own.




Salary: £18,000 per annum.



Working week: 40hrs a week.
