Description
Based at The Joseph Lappin Centre, Out Of This World Holiday Club is run by qualified childcare practitioners and playworkers to ensure all activities are educational and fun.
As a Level 2 apprentice you will support the rest of the team, offering a high level of childcare.
Duties include:
- Feeding
- Toileting Children
- Safeguarding duties
- Playing games
- Communicating with Children and parents.
You will also take part in on-the-job learning to fulfil your apprenticeship qualifications.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your
employer. Out Of This World Holiday Club will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to
up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated
as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard,
which includes:
- Knowledge,
Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
- Level
2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Out Of This World Holiday Club's dedicated training provider,
Realise.
Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an
exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late
2020.
- Smart and presentable with a passion for working with Children.
- Once Level 2 is achieved then candidate can progress to Level 3.
- Onsite parking is available
- D.B.S will be required but setting will assist.
