Description
Bluebell is a private family run nursery, based in an old church building just opposite Penny Lane, established in 1990. They were awarded outstanding by Ofsted at their last inspection.
As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice you initially will move between baby, toddler and pre-school rooms receiving a variety of training,
Eventually you will be given Key Children and responsibilities including:
- Planning activities,
- Risk assessments,
- Toileting,
- Feeding,
- Changing nappies,
- Playing games.

- Must be smart and presentable and have a keen interest in childcare
- No qualifications required, although any expereince in childcare is an advantage
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your
employer. Bluebell Studios will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to
up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated
as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard,
which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
- Functional skills in Maths and
English if required
This will be delivered through Bluebell Studios' dedicated training provider,
Realise.
- To progress onto a Level 3 Early years Educator.
- You will need to be able to pass a DBS
- Rotating shift patterns between 8.00am and 6.00pm ( Monday to Friday)
