Description
If you have a level 2 qualification in Early Years and want to progress onto a level 3 apprenticeship, then Daisy Chain Day Nursery have the opportunity for you. They offer an exceptional environment that gives the best early years’ experience to young children in Crawley. Their standards are based on the Early Years Foundation Statutory Framework (EYFS).
Some duties include:
- Promote the health, safety and security of children, implementing all policies and procedures.
- Act as an effective member of the tam, delivering high standards of care and education to the children.
- Able to assess and plan for children’s development and progress
- Act as a key-person to a group of children.
- Communicate with Parents/Carers regarding the children’s progress and development.

- Understanding of how young children develop and learn

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your
employer. Daisy Chain Day Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you
need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be
incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator
apprenticeship standard, which includes:

3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level
3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First
Aid
• Level
2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
