Description

Main duties of the job

  • Record all invoices on the computerised accounts ledger
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation related to payment of invoices is accurate and attached before payment is processed, such as purchase orders and delivery notes, bank details and company addresses.
  • Ensure all supplier account details such as account number, sort code and account name are up to date and maintained.
  • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and respond to first line queries regarding financial issues.
  • Maintenance of the petty cash system across all SAHC locations, including monthly reconciliations.
  • Recording bank transactions accurately.
  • Assisting with credit control procedures
  • Supporting with monthly accounts receivable process
  • Contribute as an effective team worker within the finance team.
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and administration.

Monday to Friday, predominantly based at Wheal Northey, but may be asked to work from any of our 5 sites
